Karyn is a veterinary and diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Toxicology. She recently completed a master’s in public health, with an emphasis on food and feed safety, and chairs the Food and Feed Safety Committee of the US Animal Health Association. She has worked at Cornell Animal Health Diagnostic Center for nearly 20 years and, in her time there, has consulted with consumers, veterinarians, regulators, and the pet food industry on a number of pet food-related disease outbreaks associated with chemical contaminants and formulation errors.
